Once per year. There are certain components on your heating and cooling equipment that should be checked and cleaned annually to ensure safe, efficient and proper operation. Should I have a programmable thermostat and what should I be setting the temperature back to during the hours of setback?

Programmable thermostats are highly recommended to save energy costs. As a rule of thumb, setback should be no more than 5 – 7 degrees because it can cost more in energy to try and recover a large temperature differential.
